Using the beta version
The “beta” version incorporates the latest functionality and improvements being made to Strum Machine. Using the beta not only lets you benefit from these new features, but helps to catch any bugs that may have sneaked in as part of the update. It’s a win-win!

How to access the beta version
You can access the beta by going to:
On iPhones and iPads, we recommend accessing the beta version through the “SM Beta” app, which you can install via Apple’s TestFlight program here. You will be prompted to install the TestFlight app, and then you’ll be able to install the SM Beta app.
How to know if you’re using the beta version
Look at the top of the “home” screen, above the song search bar. If you see the word “beta” there, you’re using the beta version.
How to get back to the regular version
You are welcome and encouraged to use the beta version every time you use Strum Machine. However, if something goes wrong with the beta, you can always go back to the regular version by going to strummachine.com.
